Damn, just want to cut the grass........

One particular ebayer has driven the prices out of range for tractors in new england, dunno what he is doing with them, but I cannot compete. I just don't have the spare time to drive to the midwest to get a tractor for a reasonable price. And I am soooooo sick if small IC engines........

Gus have you looked into shipping one to you?

It really doesn't make much economic sense, I know from my business that a 1000lb 42x48 pallet costs 300-1000 bucks to ship depending on distance. That and many owners are not very interested in spending a bunch of time to package something up that they could have just watched someone drive away with, and I understand their point.

If I can do the drive in a day, I will go get it, as long as it is worth the drive.

It's in PA, a heck of a drive from you and missing 2 mower motors, but if you look toward the bottom they do talk about delivery options from PA up to Ontario. They might be able to drop it in Albany, NY...a much nicer drive for you. ;) From the ebay auction:"Delivery arrangements may be made for a small additional charge. Ask about delivery options to or along-the-way to Ontario or South Carolina. You may contact us at LeesLawnandGarden.com (http://www.leeslawnandgarden.com/) with any questions" You might want to contact them in any case to see if they have any other ET's laying about.

You also might want to check with http://www.electrictractorstore.com/ (Jim Coate), maybe he has one he doesn't want to ship down to his new home.

As a final note, you can take a look at www.modernelectrictractors.com (http://www.elec-trak.com/forum/www.modernelectrictractors.com), with any luck they will be putting out models soon.

If I see any more ET's on line I'll put them in the tractors for sale on line post.

Yup, its on my watch list. the distance/condition equation is a bit off to be excited about, but possible.

I sent them a message to see how much to have it shipped up here. Even if it's a 100 to have it dropped in ALB, it would still be cheaper then driving down there to get it. When they get back to me I'll fire you a note.
